At the end of September, the electricity market was increasingly characterised by the transition from the summer period to the heating season. As the days grow shorter, solar power generation has declined, air temperatures have fallen and dispatchable power plants have begun to play a greater role. At the same time, market prices are also being shaped by high natural gas prices and unusually low water levels in the Nordic reservoirs.

On 29 September, independent energy company Enefit officially inaugurated the Kelmė I and Kelmė II, near Kelmė, Lithuania. Together, the two projects add 167 MW of renewable generation capacity to Lithuania’s electricity grid. Enefit invested approximately EUR 324 million in the developments.

Enefit is migrating all private EV charging customers to the new Enefit Charge app. The change will affect nearly 20,000 users in Estonia, who will be able to manage all their charging activities in one place, regardless of where they charge their vehicle.
